Located on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, Balneário Camboriú is known as the Catarinense Tourism Capital for its paradisiac beaches, gastronomic variety and strong and diversified commerce, as well as attractions that enchant visitors from all over the world.
The city is also close to some of the main tourist destinations of the northern coast of Santa Catarina, such as Penha, Piçarras, Enseada, Barra Velha, São Francisco do Sul, Itajaí, Joinville, Blumenau, Brusque, Pomerode, Itapema, Bombinhas and Florianópolis.
The Morro do Careca Tourist Complex – CTMC encompasses a mountainous elevation of approximately 158.00 m², consisting of public and private areas, with its summit at an altitude of 104m above sea level. It is located in the extreme north of the municipality of Balneário Camboriú, on the border with Itajaí, and is mostly limited by the Atlantic Ocean, which involves Praia dos Amores, Praia do Buraco and Praia Brava. It has Atlantic forest-type forest cover, viewpoint, ramp or take-off area for adventure sports, snack bar, souvenir shop, bathrooms, parking, and access with paved roads.
It was opened in 1999 and is considered one of the biggest tourist investments in Santa Catarina. The park brings together several types of leisure in one place. The Cable Car connects Barra Sul to Morro da Aguada and from there to Praia de Laranjeiras. Furthermore, the Park brings together other attractions such as Fantastic Forest, which is a visit to the green area with attractions; also the ZipRider, a piece of equipment with American technology inspired by ziplines and an electrifying 750-meter descent through the Atlantic Forest; and finally Youhoo!, a mountain sled that descends into the forest over a distance of 710 meters and a speed of up to 60 km/h.

Praia do Pinho is the first official Brazilian nudist beach, and is located in Balneário Camboriú. As naturalists, those who frequent Praia do Pinho value freedom in nature.
It is a tourist complex in Balneário Camboriú, located at one of the highest points in the city. The monument represents Jesus Christ, and is 33 meters high. Each day of the week the place is illuminated by a different light. The space also has restaurants. Cristo Luz is located at Rua Indonesia, 800 – Bairro das Nações – Balneário Camboriú.
Located in Parque Unipraias, the cable car takes visitors to the park from one end to the other, and halfway through, there is a stop for visitors to walk up the mountain.
